Cooper

For the past week, we've been overwhelmed with e-mails, phone calls, and letters about a little boy named Cooper who has been struggling with cancer for nearly his whole 2 years of life.

Cooper's community has informed us that Cooper is "obsessed" with the Laurie Berkner Band, and wishes above all else to see Laurie perform.

We are extremely touched by Cooper's story and his devotion to the band.  We have made initial contact with his family and hope to set up something special for him in the very near future.  Helping make kids like Cooper's dreams come true is an unbelievable feeling.

We'd like to remind our fans (and friends of fans) that we do respond to every situation like Cooper's as best we can, even if we only get one e-mail about it.  We ask that you please refrain from sending further e-mails and other requests about Cooper, as our e-mail has been shut down from the strain of so much response.  We don't want to miss anything from other kids in need!

Thank you to everyone who has pitched in to help Cooper.  He will surely appreciate it.
